Atlas - AI Legal Help ("the App") is published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App and related services.
1. Data We Collect
To provide its core functionality, Atlas collects:
- Account information: When you sign in (Google, Apple, or email), we receive your name and email address from the identity provider.
- Your content: Questions you ask, documents you upload, drafts you create, and messages you exchange with Atlas.
- Profile preferences: Topics, jurisdiction (state), and notification settings you set during onboarding or in profile.
- Subscription status: Active subscription tier and entitlement, managed through Apple's App Store via RevenueCat.
- Diagnostic data: Anonymous crash reports and basic usage events to keep the app working reliably.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To answer your legal questions and analyze documents you upload.
- To tailor responses to your selected jurisdiction.
- To provide and improve the lawyer review handoff (where available).
- To manage your subscription and feature access.
- To respond to support requests.
3. AI Processing & Document Handling
- Your questions and uploaded documents are processed by AI models hosted by us and our infrastructure providers in order to generate answers and document analyses.
- Documents are encrypted at rest.
- We do not use your documents or chats to train AI models unless you explicitly opt in via "Help improve Atlas" in profile settings.
- You can delete your data at any time from within the app.
4. Third-Party Services
Atlas uses the following third-party services:
- Apple App Store / StoreKit: Manages purchases and subscriptions. Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
- RevenueCat: Subscription management and entitlement verification. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
- Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple: Used to authenticate your account if you choose those sign-in methods.
- AI inference providers: We use industry-standard AI providers to generate responses and analyses. Inputs are transmitted securely and are not retained by these providers for training without our explicit configuration.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Your account, chats, documents, and drafts are stored on our secured backend.
- Documents are encrypted at rest and transmitted over TLS.
- We follow standard practices to protect data, but no internet-connected service is 100% secure.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers listed above, strictly to operate the App. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.
7. Your Rights
You can:
- Export your data via Profile → Export my data.
- Delete your account and all associated data via Profile → Delete all data.
- Cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.
- Request information about data handling by contacting us at privacy@bulpara.com.
8. Children's Privacy
Atlas is rated 17+ and is not intended for users under the age of 17.
